Just a few weeks before spring rises, the singer, musician & songwriter Fotis Siotas releases his second personal album “Dio Lathi” through United We Fly, following his highly acclaimed collaboration with lyricist Thodoris Gkonis in “Ta Deftera” album (2019). The two artists deliver twelve new songs infused by Siotas’ radical approach on contemporary Greek laiko & entekhno and Gkonis’ confessional and sarcastic lyrics.
I'm quite enjoying some unusual takes on Rebetiko these days. Like this one, then by the Australian Brendan Perry and also the Italian Vinicio Capossela. It's quite amazing how far the music will travel and still touch the heart. Dan BG Melbourne
We've waited a long time for Thee Holy Strangers' second album! But yes, it was worth the wait, the band delivered a sophomore made of gold. Rocky, dusty gold, mind you, crude yet pure and beautiful! This is an indie-rock anthem with the distinguish americana style that the band established from the debut. It seems to have a conceptual flow and works really like a time-stopping spell. Great job, it's such a pleasure to hear THS music once again! BoneWalker
